How to keep curls in hair when detangling?

You need a really good conditioner. John Frieda is my preferred brand. But brush through when it's still a little damp and twirl it around your fingers so it will keep a curl. Put a little styling creme in it to help it hold the curl. It may get a little tangled but you have to resist the urge to comb it out. A few tangles isn't a big deal
