How would u open a train station that only allows foot traffic and no cars/parking? ?

This suburban subway station can only operate if people walk theryou because nearby residents will not allow the station to operate if it creates vehicle traffic or parking issues. How would you limit or eradicate the car aspect of the train station? All answers are good answers!
